A little more about each of these creative workshops... I'm here to break down these creative skills step-by-step so you feel like you are starting at the beginning of a book not chapter 20! No prior experience is needed and all workshops are great for beginners!
With all my workshops, ALL tools and supplies are provided for you AND you get to take your supply kit home so you can continue to play with what you've learned!
INTRO TO MODERN CALLIGRAPHY - this workshop is perfect for beginners where you will start by learning the tools and the nine basic strokes of calligraphy. You'll use brush pens for this workshop because they are so user friendly and no mess! Once you make your way through the minuscules and majuscules (the alphabet), you will put everything you've learned together in a final calligraphy creation of your own!
NO MORE BORING ENVELOPES - this workshop will make snail mail exciting again! Learn how to turn your own handwriting into faux calligraphy – no special writing tools needed! Learn simple & fun doodles, various layout ideas and tips & tricks to make fun and creative envelopes to delight mailboxes near and far!
WATERCOLOR MADE SIMPLE - Getting started with watercolor doesn’t have to be complicated or overwhelming. Get going by learning what types of paper, brushes and paint are made for watercolor. You'll dabble in a little color theory using just three colors of paint and see how one brush can create endless types of brush strokes! You’ll wrap up the class by painting your own watercolor with the skills you have learned!
